Dab Pens — Buying Guide

A dab pen is a pen-shaped vaporizer for concentrates — the same job as a dab rig, shrunk to pocket size and with battery-powered heat instead of a torch. Load a rice-grain-sized dab onto the coil, press, draw, done.

Compared with e-rigs and nectar collectors, dab pens win on portability and simplicity but give up some capacity: they're built for personal draws, not group sessions. Coil choice sets the character — quartz for fast heat-up and punchy draws, ceramic for gentler, more even sessions. Keep a pack of replacement coils on hand; depending on use, a coil lasts anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months before vapour weakens and it's time to swap.
