Identify the parts
The main battery contains the display, controls, adjustable cartridge-height mechanism, chamber-width adjustment, and charging port. The small magnetic 510 adapter screws onto the cartridge. Keep the adapter with the device; a cartridge cannot make the intended connection in the chamber without it.
Inspect every cartridge before installation. Do not use one that is cracked, leaking, unusually wide for the chamber, or has damaged threads. Wipe the cartridge base and adapter with a dry swab.
Install a cartridge
Thread the magnetic adapter onto the cartridge until gently snug. Do not use tools. Lower the cartridge into the chamber so the adapter meets the battery contact. Use the height control to expose enough of the mouthpiece for comfortable use without leaving the cartridge unnecessarily unsupported.
Adjust chamber width until the cartridge is stable but not squeezed. The cartridge should not rattle excessively, and the adjustment should not require force. A cartridge outside the device's supported dimensions should not be pushed into place.
Turn the UNI Pro on using five rapid clicks of the power button. The display should show battery and voltage information. If it immediately reports no atomizer, remove the cartridge and repeat the connection checks below.
Set voltage
Use the plus and minus controls to adjust voltage in small increments. Begin with the cartridge manufacturer's guidance. When that information is unavailable, a low setting provides the cautious starting point — the 510 cartridge voltage chart gives conservative starting bands. Activate briefly, assess performance, and increase only one step at a time.
Lower voltage generally produces less heat and uses material more slowly. Higher voltage increases heat and can make a cartridge run hot. If the output tastes burnt or the cartridge body becomes uncomfortable to touch, stop, cool it, and reduce voltage.
The display makes repeatability easier: once you find an appropriate setting for a cartridge, note it rather than changing voltage randomly.
Use preheat
Preheat applies a short low-power cycle. It is useful when a cartridge has thickened in a cool environment or needs gentle warming before normal activation. Use the click sequence shown in the supplied manual for your UNI Pro generation.
Keep the cartridge upright during preheat and cancel the cycle if the cartridge becomes hot. Repeated preheat cycles are not a substitute for correcting a blocked or damaged cartridge.
Fix “No Atomizer”
Turn the device off and remove the cartridge. Confirm that the magnetic adapter is attached and that its centre contact is clean. Wipe the contact at the bottom of the UNI chamber without pushing liquid inside. Let any cleaned surface dry completely.
Reinstall the cartridge and adjust height so the adapter sits flat. If the error remains, remove and gently reattach the adapter. Test a second cartridge and, if available, a second genuine adapter. This isolates the fault:
- One cartridge fails while another works: replace the failed cartridge.
- One adapter fails with several cartridges: replace the adapter.
- Every known-good combination fails: contact support about the battery.
Never pry at the battery contact with metal. A temporary connection gained by bending a component can become a permanent short.
Fix “Shorted” or immediate blinking
Remove the cartridge as soon as the warning appears. Check for leakage around the base and for damage to the adapter. Clean, dry, and test only with a known-good cartridge. A suspect cartridge that triggers protection on another battery should be discontinued.

Charge and store the UNI Pro
Charge with the recommended cable and standard power source on a stable surface. Disconnect when complete and do not leave it charging unattended. If the cable works only at an angle or the port moves, the battery needs service — start with the not-charging checklist.
For transport, turn the device off and protect the button. For longer storage, remove the cartridge so leakage cannot enter the chamber. Store both pieces upright away from direct sun, vehicles, and extreme temperatures.
Routine maintenance
Remove the cartridge periodically and wipe the magnetic adapter and chamber contact. Residue is easier to remove before it becomes sticky. Inspect the adapter threads and replace the adapter if it becomes loose, corroded, or physically damaged.
